Drew Malcolm is a painter, graphic designer and a truck driver (we're talking mostly about the painting part here).

He was born 1980 in Toledo, Ohio and earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the prestigious art department at Bowling Green State University - Northwest Ohio's best kept secret. Later he attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison where he got his MA and MFA in Painting / 2-D Studies.

In 2007 he relocated to Brooklyn where he currently lives and works.

He is represented by Dean Jensen Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but is actively seeking representation in the New York Metro Area. If you have an amazing space you're looking to fill with paintings, please let him know as soon as possible.

In addition to the drawings and paintings, Mr. Malcolm is {inspired by / actively
engaged in / fervently seeking} opportunities for collaboration via mail art and
other artmaking projects which fall outside the traditional notions of gallery ready
art (see also "in the spirit of Raymond Johnson, David Hammons, Fluxus,
the Letterists, and post-pop collage). If you have such a project in mind he'd love
to {help out / participate / collaborate}...drop him a line and see.

He thinks it is extremely unsettling to write about himself in the third person, but
hopes you enjoy the work nonetheless...
